This splendid Sesann sofa, designed by Gianfranco Frattini for Cassina in 1972, represents one of the absolute masterpieces of 1970s Italian design. Characterized by its enveloping shape and the distinctive chromed steel cage that embraces the soft volumes of the seat, the Sesann is a perfect balance between structure and comfort.
The piece has been professionally restored with great attention to detail. The metal cage has been polished to a mirror finish, while the seat and backrests have been reupholstered with a cotton and wool bouclé fabric in an elegant light gray shade, a fine fabric that breathes new life and refinement into the original design.
The internal padding has been restored using high-density foam to provide optimal support for the seat, and the Dacron Fibrefill has been replaced to ensure balanced softness and long-lasting durability.
