About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Elegant vintage coffee and pastry set in very fine Danish Bing & Grøndahl (B&G) porcelain, featuring the historic and iconic "Seagull" (Gabbiano) decor in its most precious and sought-after variant with a rim finished in pure gold. The set stands out for its delicate sky blue nuances reminiscent of Scandinavian landscapes and for the characteristic fish scale texture in relief along the edges.
The lot consists of a total of 23 pieces:
• 1 Large square serving tray/bowl for pastries (Model no. 574)
• 11 Coffee cups
• 11 Coordinated saucers (Note: one cup is missing its saucer, for a total of 10 complete pairs plus 1 single cup)
Conditions: All pieces are in excellent, well-preserved condition. They show no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. The porcelain is shiny, and the gilding on the shaped edges is vivid and beautifully preserved. Each piece bears the official mark on the back.
