Beautiful oval serving piece with five compartments in frosted pressed glass, including a central covered compartment (domed lid with ball handle). Exterior with a golden patina, probably brass, interior in silver-plated metal. The whole is mounted on a base with four small stylized Louis XV style feet, equipped with a large movable handle allowing it to be easily transported to the table. The frame is adorned with a ribboned frieze in the Louis XVI spirit — a rather rare decoration on this type of serving piece. Two hallmarks are visible under the tray: the '24' hallmark and the master silversmith's hallmark 'RB' surmounted by two stars. Other silver-plated metal pieces bearing this same hallmark are listed by professional antique dealers, confirming the authenticity of the brand. Very good general condition. The very thick glass is in perfect condition, without chips or cracks (see photos and video). Some superficial traces of use on the metal, without impact on the solidity of the whole.
