Product description
This complete mussel and seafood service
illustrates the elegance of brasserie and
reception tables. Made of generously thick ironstone
(Ironstone Tableware), this seven-piece set from the
prestigious Italian manufacturer Ceramiche Baldelli Marsciano
features an ecru hue highlighted by a double marine-style
blue rim on the marli.
The bottom of the basin reveals a remarkable marine composition
depicting an accumulation of mussels and shrimp, entirely
signed by the hand of the artist decorator J. Recourt. The reverse
of each piece bears the official stamp
of the Baldelli house (CBM under royal crown),
mentioning the registered design patent as well as the
manufacturing vintage 5-90 (May 1990). The decoration,
applied underglaze, is totally unalterable.
A robust and refined expert service.
