These Hillestack chairs were designed by the English design duo Robert and Lucienne Day in the 1950s and produced by HILLE and Co.
Essential pieces of 1950s English design, full of character and elegance, they won't go unnoticed.
They feature a compass-style oak base, a seat and curved backrest in thermoformed plywood upholstered in a soft, muted orange velvet.
Metal caps adorn the legs.
The original varnish shows signs of wear but has been restored and is bright.
The seat and backrest have been recently reupholstered and show no stains or wear.
A mark from stacking during storage remains; it should fade/disappear with use.
