Product description
A distinctive table lamp by French designer Robert Caillat from the 1950s. The slender metal frame flows into a gently curved, conical lampshade, painted in a light yellow hue. A row of perforations around the top of the shade creates subtle light accents and reflects the functional and elegant design approach of postwar modernism. The shade is adjustable via a brass joint, allowing for precise direction of the light, making it ideal as a desk or side lamp. An integrated push-button switch on the lamp head completes the sophisticated, minimalist design. This lamp exemplifies French industrial design of the 1950s, which combines technical functionality with a clear, timeless aesthetic.
