Product description
Rossi di Albizzate Modular Sectional Sofa in Cognac Leather, Italy, 1970s.
An iconic Italian modular sectional sofa by Rossi di Albizzate, embodying the bold sculptural aesthetic and exceptional craftsmanship that defined the golden age of Italian design in the 1970s. Comprising five generously proportioned seating elements—including a corner module—the sofa offers a highly versatile configuration while making a commanding architectural statement.
Fully upholstered in rich cognac leather, each module is distinguished by deep channel-tufted detailing, softly rounded forms, and generously padded cushions that create an inviting balance of comfort and sculptural presence. The supple leather has acquired a beautifully mellow patina over time, enhancing the warmth and character of the piece while highlighting its authenticity and decades of careful use.
The seamless, low-profile design allows each module to flow effortlessly into the next, resulting in a harmonious composition that is equally suited to expansive living spaces, sophisticated lounges, or curated commercial interiors. Its organic curves and substantial proportions exemplify the relaxed luxury that became synonymous with Italian seating design during the period.
Designed with both comfort and flexibility in mind, the individual elements can be arranged as shown or reconfigured to suit a variety of interior layouts, making the sofa as practical as it is visually striking.
Whether placed within a Mid-Century Modern, Space Age, Contemporary, or Postmodern interior, this exceptional Rossi di Albizzate sectional serves as a timeless focal point, combining luxurious comfort with unmistakable Italian style.
