Product description
Sealines # 22 “Out of the Blue”. I draw inspiration from contact with the elements earth, water, and wind, and the horizon. The horizon: an imaginary line between water and air, between earth and sky, separation of elements, the end of a perspective. Born in Hoek van Holland, my fascination with the sea is as self-evident as it is natural. I use contemporary techniques and transform the images into an abstraction, thereby adding a personal impression. Thus, the Sealines collection is created: abstracted seascapes distinguished by a subtle color palette, a broad perspective, and a mystical atmosphere. My work has been exhibited at various locations: 2024 Douanehuis, Culture Raad Maassluis. 2022 Art Centre, Vlaardingen
