Product description
This is an expressive figurative sculpture, made of cast iron. The work depicts a bust of a person covering their eyes with a hand, a gesture suggesting introspection or averting one's gaze.
The sculpture is entirely made of cast iron and has a rough, textured finish characteristic of the material. The sculpture is hollow inside, which is visible from the back, and stands firmly on a square, integrated base. The color scheme is dominated by a deep, rusty brown hue with orange accents, giving it a weathered and industrial character. The style combines figurative elements with a brutalist aesthetic through the use of raw material.
The overall condition is good, and the visible rust and patina are an integral part of the artistic design. This finish gives the sculpture depth and a lived-in appearance, as if it has withstood the test of time. It is a robust and solid object.
Due to its powerful appearance, this sculpture is a striking object in various interior styles, from industrial and modern to eclectic. It can be placed on a sideboard, a console, or as a statement piece in a bookcase.
