Product description
Exceptional and very sculptural two-tone modernist style vase, designed by the illustrious designer Dieter Peter for the prestigious West German manufacturer Carstens Tönnieshof in the very early 1970s.
This archive model stands out with its unique architectural silhouette, characterized by a rectangular brick shape pierced in its center by a through window (or openwork ogive). The neck originally divides into a double elliptical drinking rim. It features a shiny, textured, flamed mustard yellow enamel, contrasting with a wide central band and a deep chocolate brown neck.
The original clay base features the official molded relief signature of the brand with the form mold number "1245/21". A major work from the Space Age era, signed by Dieter Peter and highly decorative.
