About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
Striking sculptural bamboo lounge chairs, designed in Italy in the mid-20th century, showcasing a rare and expressive silhouette with a soaring backrest. Handcrafted from richly patinated bamboo and bound with rattan cane at the joints, the chair’s structural rhythm is characterized by dramatic pointed arches, swooping arm lines, and an open-frame base. The design is both lightweight and sturdy, making it ideal as an accent chair indoors or in a covered outdoor space. The seat is composed of tightly spaced bamboo slats, providing a firm yet flexible surface, ready to be layered with cushions or enjoyed as-is for a pure material experience. A matching three-seater bench is available in a separate listing. Priced per piece.
