Product description
Ludvik Volak screen: a minimalist icon of Mid-Century European design. Exceptional craftsmanship. Bent beech wood (clear varnished). Excellent condition.
It consists of two superimposed frames with recessed shelves, two vertical supports (connectors), and four legs mounted on glued wooden dowels.
Height of the frames (excluding connectors and legs): 102 cm x 2 = 208 cm
Height of the vertical connectors (between each frame): 8 cm
Height of the connectors (floor & ceiling): 14 cm x 2 = 28 cm
= Total height (including legs & connectors): 240 cm
= Total height (including legs & connectors): 240 cm
A ceiling height of 240 cm is not required to integrate this screen into your interior; the connectors and legs can be omitted if the ceiling height is less than 240 cm.

This room divider can be mounted and used in multiple ways.
Its previous owner used it as a full-height bookcase (fixed to the floor and ceiling) and positioned it away from the walls to accommodate wider books.
For stability (due to the weight of the books), it was attached to the ceiling from the back using small brackets (the locations of which are visible).
This room divider can be mounted in the same way in a corner. It can also be used simply as a room divider with a few items on its shelves (or not).
