The "Sciangai" coat rack, inspired by the Chinese game "Mikado," consists of eight solid wood slats connected by a central joint. With a simple movement, it opens to form a stable, sculptural structure, ready to hold coats and hats. When closed, it becomes a compact and discreet stick, easy to store or move. Created in 1973 by the renowned design trio De Pas, D’Urbino, and Lomazzi for Zanotta.
