This piece is a beautiful example of Dutch craftsmanship, combining modern Art Deco influences with architectural design. The sofa is in very good condition. The leather is supple and well-maintained, and the characteristic woodwork shows minimal signs of wear, testifying to the high quality for which the (now closed) Frits Schuitema factory was renowned.
