About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
A beautiful and iconic design classic from Dutch soil. The original triangular side table, model 'Andrew'. Designed by Frits Schuitema and from the Decoforma collection.
Schuitema's furniture is known for its craftsmanship and heavy, solid construction. This table is an absolute eye-catcher that beautifully combines the geometric rigor of the Art Deco and Jugendstil movements.
Features and materials:
• Woodwork: high-quality solid wood and veneer (bubinga/rosewood) with a warm, deep appearance, finished with refined contrasting ebony and oak trim.
• Details: the iconic, inlaid square blocks on the top and the semi-circular metal strips on the corners of the corner base are made of solid aluminum.
• Shape: Unique triangular design. Ideal for placement as a striking corner table next to a sofa, as a coffee table or side table.
Dimensions:
• Width: approx. 70 cm
• Depth: approx. 70 cm
• Height: approx. 48 cm
Condition:
The table is structurally in top condition and is 100% solid. On the top, consistent with its age, some light, superficial scratches are visible in the lacquer layer (see the specific detail photo of the top). The inlaid woodwork has retained its beautiful, warm luster.
A unique opportunity for lovers of Art Deco and exclusive Dutch Design.
