Product description
Expressive, narrowly proportioned Chinese wedding cabinet with bright red lacquer finish and traditionally appealing metal fittings. Its tall, slender silhouette and slightly upward-tapering shape make the cabinet appear elegant and architectural, without taking up much floor space. The front features two narrow framed doors, which are closed with decorative fitting plates and a classic through-bolt latch. The red lacquered surface shows a beautiful, developed patina with abrasions, small scratches, and darker signs of wear on edges and profiles. Precisely these traces give the furniture its authentic vintage character. Inside, the cabinet is dark or black-finished and equipped with several fixed shelves. The traditional red coloring creates an exciting contrast to the dark interior finish and the metal fittings. Condition: Good used vintage condition with clear age- and use-related patina.
