About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an armchair designed by the Danish designer Ib Kofod-Larsen, a characteristic example of Mid-Century Modern design. The piece is characterized by its sculptural wooden frame and the elegant, organic lines typical of Kofod-Larsen's work.
The frame is crafted from dark wood with a rich grain, creating a warm contrast with the upholstery. The chair is upholstered in a textured fabric in a vibrant mustard yellow color. The armrests are expertly shaped, offering both aesthetic appeal and comfort. This design is an icon of Danish craftsmanship from the mid-20th century.
The overall condition of the armchair is very good, retaining its original character and structural integrity. The upholstery is intact, and the wooden frame shows a patina consistent with its age, contributing to the authentic appearance of the furniture piece.
This armchair is a refined addition to various interior styles, from Scandinavian to eclectic. It can serve as a comfortable reading chair in a living room or as an elegant accent piece in a study or bedroom.
