This is an original painting by the artist Hortensius, created on canvas. The work depicts an intimate portrait of two parrots sitting closely together on a branch. The composition stands out due to the strong contrast and the focus on the two birds, creating an atmospheric and serene scene.
The painting is executed in a predominantly monochrome palette, with deep black and grey tones serving as the background. The parrots are rendered in vibrant shades of purple and white, with brushstrokes emphasizing the texture of their plumage. The work is signed in the lower right by the artist, "Hortensius". The artwork comes in a simple, white frame that accentuates the dark tones of the canvas.
The painting is in good overall condition, retaining its original colors and details. The canvas is tightly stretched, and the signature is clearly legible. The matching frame is functional and presents the work clearly, ready to be hung.
Thanks to its understated yet expressive character, this artwork fits into various interior styles, from modern to classic. It can serve as a striking centerpiece in a living room, hallway, or study, where it adds a touch of color and natural elegance.
