Super cute vintage Rumtopf pot from the German manufacturer Scheurich Keramik in very good condition!
Brand: Scheurich Keramik (West Germany).
Model number: 827-31.
Design: The pot is octagonal and finished in a beige/cream color with brown accents. The surface features reliefs of various fruits, such as pears, grapes, and apples.
Dimensions: The height including the lid is approximately 31 to 32 cm. Without the lid, the pot is approximately 25.5 to 26 cm high.
A Rumtopf is a traditional earthenware pot used to preserve fresh seasonal fruit in rum and sugar.
This process often begins in the spring, and the mixture is then ready to be consumed around Christmas.
