Scheurich ceramic vase, model Gabun 517-38, West German ceramic design of the mid-century era. - Characteristic fat lava glaze and geometric relief patterns - High-contrast color scheme of black and yellow. - The base mark confirms its West German origin. The piece is in very good condition for its age. The original glaze is very well preserved. Photo 5 does not show a classic chip; this is a small factory flaw in the glaze, almost invisible when the vase is upright and only present in this one spot. Depending on the viewing angle, it may not be visible at all.
