OBJECT:
Grasshopper Style Adjustable recliner chair with tilt adjustment and fold-out footrest

Scandinavian
DESCRIPTION:
Solid beech wood frame reinforced and durable by integrated steel components in the joint mechanism area; fitted seat module frame with fold-out footrest; stepless tilt adjustment to reclining position by simple weight shift; seat module with removable leather cover; integrated head cushion. All seams are executed as elegant double seams (with this seam, the visible seams are decorative seams, the actual functional seam is protected inside). This alone reveals the premium and high-quality character of this Adjustable recliner chair.
MANUFACTURER / DESIGNER:
Westnofa / Vestlandske/ (today Rybo or Fjords), Norway
The company Westnofa / Vestlandske is the sister company of Stokke/ Varier and a renowned Scandinavian design furniture manufacturer. Their creations embody the typical connection of Scandinavian design to traditional materials and craftsmanship.
MATERIAL:
Lacquered beech wood / powder-coated, lacquered steel / naturally grained premium semi-aniline nappa leather, easy to care for yet soft!
A little leather knowledge: "Leather is not just leather!!"
Please do not compare this leather with subsequently, i.e. artificially grained leather. In artificially grained leather, lower layers of animal skin (split leather) are pressed by heated steel rollers. The rollers have a surface modeled on natural leather grain and thus create an artificial grain (embossing) of the originally smooth leather through pressure and heat.
This artificially grained leather is very often used for leather furniture sold by Amazon & Co and in upholstered furniture stores with so-called bargain prices, producer prices, direct purchase prices, etc. (often China goods). These armchairs, suites, sofa landscapes, etc., depending on the provider and size, usually range in price from 600 to 1500,- Euro. The furniture is often advertised with the term "genuine leather", which is factually correct. This does not mean high quality; it is by no means a quality seal, but only states that it is not artificial leather!!
Incidentally, this leather is characterized by a relatively high wear, with normal use the grain disappears after some time. It also feels cold and often quite rubbery due to the high color application. The price difference is also recognizable; it costs only about 1/3 of the price of high-quality leather at tanneries, as it is essentially waste or third-choice goods in the conventional sense.
COLOR:
Chocolate / dark brown
The photos are overexposed so that the 1a condition is visible in detail! Reddish tones become redder, and colors generally become lighter. The shadow areas or areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best represent the natural color tones. Gloss on the photos or grayish or milky areas are also due to exposure or lighting (reflections). The surfaces are satin to semi-gloss.
DIMENSIONS:
approx. Width: 67cm; Depth: cm will be provided later; Height: 100cm; Seat height: 46cm;
CONDITION:
Not much text is needed here; the Adjustable recliner chair is technically and visually in excellent and like-new condition. The leather cover naturally has no stains, scratches, tears, or holes and is completely odorless. The frame is also in excellent condition. Grade 1 without ifs and buts! The new owner will enjoy it for years, if not decades.

FORMER NEW PRICE / LIST PRICE / COMPARISON PRICE:
is unfortunately not known. To give an indication, the "Siesta" armchairs from Westnova / Hjelle today cost around 2900,- Euro as high-back versions in leather. However, this Adjustable recliner chair is significantly more complex in construction and accordingly has significantly higher manufacturing costs, so it should have a new price of around 3000 to 4000,- Euro today.
OUR PRICE:
Our Whoppah price includes the Whoppah gross commission of a total of 19.36% (16% net commission + 21% proportionate Dutch VAT).
TRANSPORT:
We have found that transport by Whoppah courier is sometimes significantly (100-150%) above the market price of usual furniture forwarders and furniture couriers! We may be able to organize cheaper transport for you within Germany, to the Netherlands, to neighboring German countries, or an EU transport. Cheaper non-EU transport by general cargo forwarder in a special wooden crate may also be possible.
!!! Contacting us before purchase is absolutely necessary!!!
TRANSPORT COSTS:
e.g., Germany, approx. 99 - 119,- Euro, depending on distance in kilometers
e.g., Netherlands approx. 99 - 149,- Euro, single trip directly to the buyer, depending on distance in kilometers (also possible on weekends!)
!!! The transport costs indicated under "Shipping is carried out by the seller" only apply to transport within Germany without islands!!!
Unfortunately, an individual display of transport costs is currently not possible on Whoppah.
