Scandinavian dining table in solid teak, model 311, by Peter Hidt and Olrla Mølgaard Nielsen for Søborg Møbelfabrik. A remarkably light design. Exceptional wood quality and craftsmanship. Slightly oval tabletop. Tapered legs, oval at the base and tapering to cylindrical ends. Designed in 1956. A rare table produced in solid wild teak. Production costs and the difficulty of finding teak of sufficient quality for solid work led the Søborg factory to cease production in the early 1960s. H 73 cm, W 125 cm, D 110 cm. Length with extensions: 175 cm.
