Product description
Rare, elegant sauce boat with its integrated tray in fine Limoges porcelain, stamped B&Co, Bernardaud & Cie, on the reverse, accompanied by the mark "Limoges France - Unique", a mention corresponding to a commercial line of the manufacturer and not the name of the decor. Produced during the Art Deco period, around the years 1930-1940. The sauce boat features a beautiful angular faceted shape with two opposing spouts, resting on a rounded octagonal saucer. Decor with stylized geometric patterns in pink and blue tones, a decorative aesthetic of the interwar period, enhanced with a gilded rim and motifs. An alternative use could make it a charming hyacinth pot.
Total length of the saucer 22cm, width 16cm. Sauce boat alone 17.5cm long by 12cm wide. Maximum height approximately 7.5cm. Very good general condition, gilding and decor well preserved. No chips or cracks to report. Approximately 600gr.
