Saskia Pfaeltzer — “Bruidspaar”, bronze sculpture, 2002
Large bronze sculpture by Dutch artist Saskia Pfaeltzer titled “Bruidspaar” — The Bridal Couple. The work dates from 2002 and depicts two stylized seated figures in an intimate shared pose.
The sculpture has a highly expressive, tactile surface with visible modelling marks and a deep green/dark patina. The rough, hand-worked bronze texture gives the piece a lively and sculptural presence from every angle.
Originally acquired from Gallery Bell’Arte, Maastricht. The sculpture comes with the original signed Certificate of Authenticity, dated July 2004, which states a gallery valuation of €3,800.
