Product description
Sarpi table designed by Carlo Scarpa for Simon Gavina with frame in brushed stainless steel. Held together with visible screws. Glass table top with rounded edges. Simon Gavina produced a collection of designs that are true design icons. “Ultrarazionale”, which the Sarpi table is part of, was a collection of sculptural works which were the result of carefully chosen materials. From architecture to works in glass, design projects and museum exhibitions, the work of Carlo Scarpa has always stood out in a unmistakable way.
It is in good but used condition. Some marks and scratches to the old lacquer that is used to protect the metal. The lacquer yellowed slightly over the years. We kept this original layer intact to show the age of the table. Some scratches to the glass, but no damage to the edges
