About the photographer
Sandro Miller (born 1958) is an American photographer (working professionally as "Sandro") known for his expressive imagery and his close association with actor John Malkovich and the other ensemble members of Chicago's Steppenwolf Theater Company. Sandro did all the promotional photography for Dance for Life, the largest performance-based AIDS fundraiser in the Midwest. In July 2011, Sandro was awarded a Saatchi & Saatchi Best New Director Award for his short video Butterflies with John Malkovich. For the past five years, Sandro has been named one of the top 200 advertising photographers in the world in industry jury competitions.
