Product description
Beautiful hand-turned stoneware box, signed (?) to be identified. Tall, baluster shape on a foot, with an attractive domed lid adorned with a pointed knob. Light brown stoneware with ash glaze in shades of light khaki, some pyrite stains. Vintage 50's-60's La Borne style, reminiscent of some Japanese ceramics. 20-21cm max. height with lid, 11-12cm diameter. Very good overall condition, with only wear on the tip of the lid and a small, rather discreet chip on the inside rim. Approx. 800gr.
