Product description
Unique collector's plate by Arno Kiechle from the '50 in Germany,style 717. A hand-painted scene showing a pair of cranes in the water. It has a dark brown unglazed background made using the engobe method,the outlines of the scene are hand-carved in the mass and then colored with enamel. One the back there is a stamp with the style number and holes for a strig to hang on the wall. Mid-century modern characteristic of German ceramics of the period. Please have a look in the last photo how well it goes together with flowers of the same style.
