Special designer ceiling light by Rudolf Dörfler (Artolux / Switzerland)
For sale is a rare and stylish ceiling light by Rudolf Dörfler (Artolux, Dornach / Switzerland).
About Rudolf & Ursula Dörfler / Artolux:
Rudolf Dörfler lamps are unique, anthropomorphically inspired lamps that were created in Dornach (Switzerland) from the 1960s and 70s and manufactured until 1997 by Rudolf and Ursula Dörfler in their company Artolux. Stylistically, Dörfler lamps are characterized by their clear, geometric shapes and crystalline structures, which are typical of the anthroposophical design tradition. Their artistic light objects combine functionality with spiritually influenced design and are still highly valued by collectors and in anthroposophical institutions today.
Design & Execution:
This ceiling light impresses with its high-quality, solid wooden frame (oak) and the characteristically shaped, crystalline acrylic glass cover. The design provides a particularly pleasant, glare-free and warm light in the room.
