Product description
This iconic coat rack is an authentic design by Rudi Volket, a prime example of German design from the 1950s. The piece is crafted in the prestigious Brussels style, characterized by visual lightness and geometric precision. A solid wooden base in a warm, honey-colored shade is paired with a practical shelf for hats. The most recognizable element of this model is the decorative white mesh with a diamond pattern, which gives the entire piece a unique mid-century modern character. The coat rack is equipped with four original metal hooks with a classic, rounded shape.
The item is in very good vintage condition. The wooden structure is stable and aesthetically pleasing, and the mesh on the shelf remains complete and properly tensioned. Only the noble, natural patina is visible on the metal elements, confirming the age and authenticity of the design.
The coat rack measures 70 cm wide, 27 cm deep, and 13 cm high at the rear mounting rail.
