Murano artistic platter manufactured in the 1960s, Italian production.
A spectacular ‘sommerso’ bowl made of hand-formed glass in shades of deep red and transparent crystal. The fluid, organic lines and subtle colour transitions are the essence of Venetian Murano craftsmanship. An excellent decorative accent in the mid-century modern style - full of glamour, light and expression. It can be used as a bowl for fruit, small items or simply as a sculptural element of interior design. A collectible example of Italian artistic glassware with a unique form and colour.
Condition: The platter is preserved in its original condition and may show normal signs of use (minor scratches).
