On a small plywood panel, Andrei Rublev's Trinity shines in its ultramarine blues and warm golds. The composition, one of the most famous in Eastern Christian art, depicts the three angels seated around the chalice, in a circular harmony of absolute serenity. The finely printed reproduction faithfully reproduces the luminous palette of the original, preserved at the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow. On the back, an old label identifies the provenance: Maison Cosie, 15 rue du Midi, Brussels, a business specializing in quality religious items and souvenirs, active in the 1950s-1970s. A brass hook allows for immediate hanging. Miniature format of approximately 8 x 10 cm, ideal for a niche, a personal oratory, or a curio cabinet shelf. The patina of time and the slight surface craquelure attest to its antique use and beautiful age.
