Danish, Royal Copenhagen mid-century porcelain bottle vase designed in the early 1960s by Danish artist Nils Thorsson for Royal Copenhagen Fajance and is part of the "Tenera" series. The decor and pattern of this particular Tenera piece were designed by Kari Christensen. The vase is made of porcelain clay that is hand-painted on both sides with a whimsical floral pattern and a female figure with a large hat partially hidden within the flowers. The vase is glazed in light purple, light blue and brown on a white background. The vase is marked with the item number 170/2740, along with the Royal Copenhagen Denmark Aluminia mark and the artist's mark KC. The bottle-shaped vase measures approximately 16.5 cm wide and 10 cm deep and is 28 cm high. Is in perfect condition!
