Midcentury ceramic serving bowl in the Thule decor designed in the 60s by Anni Jeppesen for Royal Copenhagen, which was then known as Aluminia until 1969 when the Aluminia factory owners acquired the Royal Copenhagen porcelain factory.
The inside is glazed in a smooth and finely speckled ocean blue colour, whereas the outside is adorned with a modernist geometric pattern of the same shade on an off-white underglaze. The dark brown matte stoneware is visible on the lower part of the piece and on the rim.
It is stamped with the Aluminia logo on the underside, model number 3159. The AJ initials stand for Anni Jeppesen.

Condition: Very good vintage condition with signs of age commensurate to the age of the piece, please see pictures for details. Note a small spot on the rim where the glaze didn't take during the manufacturing process, however it is not chipped.
