Product description
Lichtenstein's "Still Life with Windmill" presents a dual composition. It is anchored by the windmill outside, as are the objects inside the room. "Still Life with Windmill" is the most stylistically consistent print of a series of still lifes. It is a colorful figurative portrait that mimics the layout of historical landscape paintings, with the added symbolism of still lifes.
Lithograph after the 1974 original.
Signed in the plate and numbered in a limited edition 66/150.
Relief stamp of the publisher Styria Studio NY on the front.
License with ink stamp from Castelli Graphics NY on the back.
Professionally framed in a black ayous wood frame with clear acrylic glass. The back is sealed with acid-free tape in the same color as the frame. An acid-free insert is included on the back to protect the artwork from fading.
