Pretty small round Art Deco box in enamelled ceramics said cloisonné of the Faïenceries et Emaux de Longwy realized around 1940. The box is covered with a pretty decoration of flowers, two fine graphic and colored friezes on a turquoise background with cracked enamel characteristic of the manufacture of Longwy. The Longwy factory has hundreds of years of tradition, but their golden age is clearly the Art Deco period from the 1920s to the 1940s. A collector's item, very decorative, and in superb vintage condition.
