Description
Antique round gueridon / side table from the first half of the 19th century. The piece of furniture stands on a central column with three elegantly curved legs with volute feet. The round tabletop consists of two parts and is reinforced on the underside with cross braces.
The design is consistent with Empire and early Biedermeier furniture from Northern Europe. Condition: Clear signs of age:
• large crack in the top
• multiple shrinkage cracks
• traces of woodworm
• scratches and wear on the top
• edge damage
• construction still intact
Suitable as a restoration project or decorative piece of furniture.
