The iconic Swiss roll-top cabinet B, designed in 1977 by Trix and Robert Haussmann for the Röthlisberger collection, is part of their renowned roll-top furniture series. It combines the design duo's characteristic precision with an exceptionally functional construction. The rounded shape of the cabinet body with its finely grooved roll-top fronts is particularly striking. The flexible wooden slats can be guided around the sides of the cabinet, completely opening up the interior. When closed, the cabinet presents an almost continuous, textured front with a calm and elegant appearance. The interior offers several generous storage surfaces, making the cabinet versatile – for example, as a sideboard, bar cabinet, media cabinet, or storage unit. The rounded top and bottom edges, along with the understated feet, emphasize the high-quality craftsmanship. The original Rö emblem of Röthlisberger is present on the piece, identifying it as the manufacturer. A characteristic example of Swiss furniture design from the late 1970s and a design with high recognition value. Condition: Good vintage condition with signs of age and use.
