Product description
Event horizon This picture has two lives. During the day, it bears layers of black and green, traces, drops, cracks like frozen movements. A silhouette appears and disappears again, remaining a mystery between light and shadow. But in the dark it reveals its secret. Under UV light, the work awakens again - lines begin to glow, surfaces shimmer as if the canvas had its own memory. It is a black light painting, a work that lives on when everything else has gone quiet. "Event horizon" - in physics, this is the name given to the limit beyond which no light returns. In art, however, it is the point at which the invisible becomes visible. This picture marks precisely this transition. Many who stood in front of it said: "I saw myself in it." Because what shines here is not just color. It is memory. Longing. The future. 📏 Dimensions: 70 × 140 × 4 cm 🖤 Acrylic on canvas, textured surface, with UV-active paint ✨ A unique piece that lives in daylight - and dreams in black light. Rotan Hunt, a self-taught artist from the picturesque Taunus region in Hesse, has made it his mission to breathe new life into wood. His passion for woodworking found its depth in a renowned carpentry workshop in Austria, where he learned the finest craftsmanship. But Rotan goes beyond traditional wood carving. He experiments with a variety of materials - sculptures made of wood, stone, glass, resin, metal and acrylic paint - to create unique works of art that appeal to the eye and the soul in equal measure. He acquired the techniques of acrylic painting at the prestigious Kunsthochschule Düsseldorf via a taught course, an enrichment that adds depth and color to his works. A particular influence in Hunt's artistic journey was his mentor Benoît Averly (France), who showed him how to mold and shape impressive sculptures out of wood. Today, Hunt transforms his own home into an art gallery, a place where visitors can immerse themselves in the magical world of his creations and experience his masterful works up close. It is a journey through time, through different materials and techniques, and above all through the unbridled creativity of an artist who always strives to transform the ordinary into something extraordinary.
