This work stands for the moment in which the human being comes into being - the individual emerges from the layers of time and nature.
The dynamic lines are reminiscent of cosmic traces, while warm red and gold tones symbolize strength and new beginnings. Aurora Persona is an image about identity, change and the beginning of civilization - a real statement piece with a strong presence.
Rotan Hunt - a self-taught artist from the picturesque Taunus region in Hesse - has dedicated himself to a mission: Breathing new life into wood and other materials. His passion began early, deepened in a renowned carpentry workshop in Austria and developed into true craftsmanship.
But Hunt never stopped at the traditional. He combines wood with stone, glass, resin, metal and acrylic paint to create works that are raw, powerful and full of expression. He honed his acrylic painting skills by studying with an artist at the Düsseldorf Art Academy - an experience that lends his works additional depth and intensity.
His mentor, the French artist Benoît Averly, also had a formative influence, showing him how wooden sculptures can carry not only forms but also emotions.
Today, Rotan Hunt transforms his home into a living gallery: a place where visitors can feel the energy of his works at first hand. Each work tells of the joy of experimentation, of the search for balance between nature and modernity - and of the urge to transform the everyday into something extraordinary.
