Product description
This special vintage rattan armchair is a real eye-catcher. Its generous size, high backrest, and distinctive design give the chair an imposing appearance not often found in many rattan armchairs. The design is clearly intended not only for comfortable seating but also to have a strong presence as a standalone piece of furniture in an interior. The high backrest, in particular, stands out. The vertical rattan sticks run upwards from the seat and follow the graceful, slightly outward-curving line of the back. This creates a characteristic arch at the top, while the various horizontal connections provide a beautiful rhythm in the design. Particularly striking are the prominent protruding points on either side of the back, which give the armchair its recognizable and almost sculptural silhouette. The armrests are also beautifully designed. The curved rattan construction runs from the back to the front, forming wide, open armrests that give the armchair an airy character. The various hand-wrapped connections are clearly visible and form an important part of its appeal. Due to its generous size, this is not a small, modest rattan chair. The high back and wide construction make it particularly suitable as a comfortable lounge armchair where you can sink in wonderfully. At the same time, the open rattan frame remains visually light, so the chair does not appear massive despite its considerable dimensions. A special vintage rattan design with a distinctive shape, many artisanal details, and a size that immediately attracts attention. Beautiful in a natural interior, but also strong as a contrast within a Mid-Century Modern, eclectic, or Japandi interior.
