Product description
This Art Deco sideboard in rosewood veneer displays an elegant and architectural silhouette where curved lines, symmetry, and the depth of the wood create a presence that is both sober and luxurious, the rosewood revealing an undulating grain with warm nuances that animates the facade with a natural and refined movement. The curved doors open with a fluid gesture and demonstrate demanding cabinetmaking expertise, while the long, discreetly curved gilded metal handles bring a luminous touch that highlights the modernity of the design. The central part, punctuated by concave vertical panels matched with brass fillets, reinforces the geometric spirit characteristic of late Art Deco and creates a visual balance between decorative verticality and solid volumes. The whole rests on a recessed and ogee base, which lightens the structure and gives the furniture an almost floating appearance, as if suspended above the ground. This base is encircled with metal at the bottom.
Inside, two drawers and adjustable shelves form large storage spaces allowing to accommodate crockery, table linen or decorative objects, in continuity with the functional vocation of Art Deco furniture designed to accompany a modern and organized lifestyle. This sideboard thus embodies the sought-after alliance of the period: an elegant and structured design, a precious essence, and artisanal manufacturing that transcends time with distinction.
