Product description
This is a set of three nesting tables originating from Denmark, produced during the 1960s. The design is characteristic of the Mid-Century Modern period, combining the rich tones of rosewood with the decorative touch of ceramic tiles. Crafted from dark-grained rosewood, the set features three individual tables that graduate in size, allowing them to be stored neatly one under the other. The largest table is distinguished by an inlaid top of patterned ceramic tiles in a light grey and silver hue, providing a durable and heat-resistant surface. The two smaller tables have plain rosewood tops, showcasing the natural beauty of the wood grain. All three tables stand on elegant, slender, tapered legs, a hallmark of Scandinavian design. The set is presented in good vintage condition, retaining its original character and structural integrity. The rosewood displays a patina that has developed over decades, contributing to its authentic vintage appeal. The ceramic tiles on the main table remain intact and well-preserved. With their versatile and space-saving design, these nesting tables are a functional addition to a living room or seating area. They can be used together as a tiered surface or separated to provide individual side tables where needed, complementing interiors with a Scandinavian or Mid-Century Modern aesthetic.
