This is a completely restored coat and hat rack by Osvaldo Borsani, featuring a mirror and 4 copper hooks to hang a coat and hat. The piece stands on an elegant black lacquered metal frame with 3 pointed legs. The copper, glass, metal, and the wood are completely professionally redone, polished, and brought back to an original mint condition. Beautiful free-standing piece and an amazing eye-catcher in your hallway. This piece dates from before the Tecno S.p.A period, and is therefore not signed or marked. The pieces from Borsani’s workshop in Milan are never marked. An exactly identical piece is also available by another mid-century design dealer.
