Product description
Rosewood secretary / desk cabinet, designed by Arne Vodder for Sibast in the 1960s. A particularly functional design in which ample storage space is housed within a relatively compact volume. The drop-down flap forms a spacious work surface and opens to an interior with shelves and two small drawers. Below are several wide drawers with characteristic metal handles, a detail that frequently recurs in Vodder's work. The cabinet is crafted from beautifully grained rosewood and features the original Sibast labels. In good vintage condition with light signs of wear consistent with age and use, including a small veneer repair.
