For sale is an original "Quadrondo" dining table, designed by Erwin Nagel for Rosenthal and acquired in 1988. The Quadrondo is one of the most striking designs in the Rosenthal Studio Line of the 1980s. Its exceptional construction allows the table to be transformed from a round to a square shape in just a few simple steps. This combination of innovative technology, clean lines, and high-quality craftsmanship makes it a highly sought-after design classic. The transformation mechanism works perfectly and smoothly. There are signs of age and use: In a few places, the black coating on the edges of the tabletop is slightly worn. There are two small areas of wear on the black surface of the table base. These signs of wear do not affect the stability or function of the table and are to be expected for an original piece that is almost 40 years old.
