Rosenthal Polygon Warming Plate
The object in the photo is a porcelain warming plate (also called a rechaud or stövchen) from the Rosenthal "Polygon" series. The series was designed by Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala.
This plate is used to keep food warm and uses tea lights placed in the openings. It is a two-part object, with the lower half holding the tea lights and the upper plate placed on top.
