Product description
Oil on canvas depicting a bouquet of roses, probably created around the 1950s.
Very beautiful knife work with significant impasto, giving the flowers and foliage an almost sculptural relief. Palette of greens, blues, yellows, and pinks, in an expressionist and materialist spirit of the post-war period.
Signed work, signature unidentified to date.
Old canvas on wooden stretcher. Cracks and traces of time, particularly visible in the significant thicknesses of material.
Dimensions: 33 cm / 41 cm
