About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This is 'Scars', an original painting by the French artist Ronan Martin. The work is a tribute to Pierre Soulages and stands out for its powerful, abstract composition and the use of deep, reflective textures.
The artwork is crafted using resin, pigments, and glaze on canvas stretched over a wooden frame. The dimensions are 61 centimeters in height and 50 centimeters in width. The work is characterized by a monochrome palette of black and silver, where thick, impasto brushstrokes create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow. The painting is signed by the artist on the side and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
The painting is in excellent condition and retains its original luster and texture. Its authenticity is further underscored by the accompanying documentation, including an i-CAC certificate.
This abstract work is particularly well-suited to a modern or minimalist interior. The reflective qualities of the surface make it a captivating focal point in both a living room and an office space. According to Ronan Martin's own view, the asking price is not being pushed to its limits.
He regularly offers his works at a low opening price.
I prefer to adhere to this view and do not ask for the estimate of the "experts" who quickly value the work at €2,500.
A great opportunity for people who want to add a genuine Ronan Martin to their collection.
