Ronald Boonacker (born 1958) is self-taught. After his military service, he entered the world of travel and because of his now-developed love of art, he also gave art lectures. After age 40, Boonacker changed course and started painting. Favorite subjects are beaches, islands, palms and picturesque settings. The artist, who has a sunny outlook on life, works mainly with acrylic paint in many and bright hues, interspersed with silver and gold. Those who dream of an island or a walk through the Tuscan landscape are making a good start to bring a work by Ronald Boonacker into their home. Please note: The run number may differ from the photo due to multiple copies. You can come see the work in advance at the Rotor Gallery's treasure trove in Gorinchem or pick it up after purchase.
